Description:

In this four week course, you will learn how to turn your ideas into final illustrations, guided in a step-by-step process. Identify your desired style, create thumbnails and sketches, build a balanced composition, choose a color palette to create depth and texture, and add the final touches to create a finished image. This process can be applied to illustrations made by hand or on a computer, and works across different formats.

If you would like to do digital illustrations, please bring your laptop or tablet to class.

If you would like to do traditional illustration on paper, Faber-Castell sketching pencils and paint will be offered at an additional materials fee.
