Start date: Monday, November 2 2026.

Schedule:

 Mondays, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM,

 From November 2, 2026 until December 14, 2026,

Resource person: Stephanie Bonner

Location: Centennial Room | 129 Park Avenue, Swarthmore, PA, 19081

Description:

Would you like to learn how to knit, or take a refresher course? First-time knitters will start with a basic dishcloth, scarf, or cowl. Experienced knitters who would like to learn to hold the yarn in the left hand and "pick" the yarn Continental-style, rather than "throwing" it English-style, are also welcome—the Continental method enables significantly faster stitching. While Stephanie will initially prioritize teaching any newcomers, she can also help people who have knitted UFOs (unfinished objects!) they want help with as time allows.

Please note that there is no class on the following date(s):

• Monday, November 23, 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
